BOOK REVIEW

I rushed home from church this afternoon where we had a wonderful speaker. I didn't even change clothes because I was so excited. I plopped down on the couch and read your courageous and very powerful memoir! Cover to cover in one sitting! I couldn't put it down! WOW. I am overwhelmed with so many emotions...joy peace, pain, sorrow, hope and triumphant victory. Like the phoenix that rises from the ashes. I had no idea. Your strength, your voice, and your intrepid spirit are difficult to put human emotion to. I am so proud of you, Holly. You are TRULY a tribute and a testimony to others about the opportunity to choose undaunted victory from an excruciating nightmare. I would LOVE to hear you speak! I am passing your memoir on to a friend of mine (my hairdresser) who is battling her own demons of alcoholism. She just returned from rehab for the first time and I know she has a rough road ahead. I know she will find strength and hope from your words. My mom and dad want to read it too, so it will be off to Massachusetts from Texas. What a blessing it is. You are so brave and so strong. Your daughters are very blessed to have you as their mom. I'm still curious about Trip and what he's doing, and how Billy is. Your story is magically empowering. I pray for the day that my boys find a new path, like you did, with their coping of the divorce etc...God is wonderful and will blanket me in His peace until that day arrives. Well done my sweet, courageous, tenacious friend. I am overwhelmed. Love ya!
