Holly Curtis
is 28 years recovered from Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa. She is a CCI CERTIFIED Eating Disorder Coach trained by the renowned Carolyn Costin Institute, Author, Life Coach,
EDIT™ certified I & II by Dr. Dorie McCubbrey, Guest Speaker on iHeart radio, Recovery Speaker and Support Group Leader for The National Association of Anorexia Nervosa Associated Disorders (ANAD) for over 25 years.
She completed her BA in Psychology from Northwestern University.
Holly's strengths include working with adults and adolescents, developing rapport with resistant clients, and compassionate accountability. Her therapeutic philosophy is, "Lead with love - Love always heals. She knows nothing changes, if nothing changes. What lies behind us and before us, matters little to what lies within us."
Her approaches include mindfulness, emotional acceptance and tolerance, setting healthy boundaries, identifying triggers, relationship re-connection and creating the best environment for emotional wellness.
Holly is an experienced public speaker and regularly presents on eating disorder awareness. Holly also volunteered at the Maryville Children's Home from 1991-2001 sponsoring orphans and helped found the "Friends of Maryville" network. She published her recovery memoir, affirming it is never too late to save yourself and start living a loving, worthy and fulfilling life.
