Holly Curtis is an author, coach, EDIT™ certified and a guest speaker on Relevant Radio 950 am. She is currently training for her recovery coaching certification with the Carolyn Costin Institute. Holly is also a Recovery Speaker and Support Group Leader for The National Association of Anorexia Nervosa Associated Disorders (ANAD). She completed her BA in Psychology from Northwestern University.
Holly's strengths include working with adults and adolescents, developing rapport with resistant clients, and compassionate accountability. Her therapeutic philosophy is, "Lead with love - Love always heals. She knows nothing changes, if nothing changes. What lies behind us and before us, matters little to what lies within us."
Her approaches include mindfulness, emotional acceptance and tolerance, setting healthy boundaries, identifying triggers, relationship re-connection and creating the best environment for emotional wellness.
Holly is an experienced public speaker and regularly presents on eating disorder awareness. Holly also volunteered at the Maryville Children's Home from 1991-2001 sponsoring orphans and helped found the "Friends of Maryville" network. She has recently published her recovery memoir, affirming it is never too late to save yourself and start living a loving, worthy and fulfilling life.
